Earthenware Goldfinch and Tarin

A Goldfinch and Tarin bird perched on a branch together, this adorable duo in earthenware is delicately stamped and assembled by hand, then hand painted to add the details of feathers, eyes, beaks and claws.

Thanks to the bestiary that was created by master ceramicist Léon Pouplard between 1890 and 1952, we have inherited a collection of exclusive sculptures of birds from the Loire region.
