Our large Greenfinch bird made from earthenware clay is delicately stamped and assembled by hand, then hand painted on unfired glaze in the traditional way before being fired in the kiln to obtain an impeccable finish.

The bestiary created by master ceramicist Léon Pouplard between 1890 and 1952, is a collection of exclusive sculptures of birds from the Loire region.
